Who am I?

I am many things: a woman, a daughter, a sister, a partner, an educator, a researcher, a traveller, a lover of languages and cultures. This blog stems from a combinations of all these elements of my makeup. I am impelled by trying to assist people from different cultures. Languages and education are the two fundamental foundational pieces in this  endeavor. I bring my own experience living and working across the world, as well as my academic qualifications including an MPhil in International Peace Studies, an MSc in Cross-Cultural Research Methods and a PhD in Economic Geography focusing on international migration. I use this knowledge and skills gained to promulgate articles, discussions and educational curriculum aimed at bridging gaps in cross-cultural communication.
